Huntsham Court is a no corkage country house, where we pride ourselves on our transparency and flexibility in all aspects of our customer offering. We promise no hidden charges, including no corkage and no handling charges. You also have total freedom when it comes to sourcing your drinks as well as where and how you choose to serve them. We obviously also give you complimentary use of our glassware.
Whether you are looking for quaffable plonk, fine vintage wines, local ales or fruity ciders you are welcome to bring your own with no corkage and have a free bar, but we also have an alcohol license to sell alcohol. There are lots of different options and often people have different arrangements for different parts of their event and stay. We are very flexible so have a chat to us about what you are thinking.

One thing to be sure of though is even if you are running your own free bar your event planner can easily find glass collectors, back bar washer-uppers and assistant bar staff to help take the weight off your shoulders, so you can focus on enjoying time with your guests.

Often clients plan for their event and buy direct from the major supermarket chains. You can often get good deals, such as champagne for £15 p/b and wine from £6p/b, but it is normally not sale or return.
Your Event Manager can schedule in bar staff and glass collectors for you from the local area to run and manage a simple bar for you.
Some clients prefer to use their main caterer to run a bar for them, or get a mobile bar company in so they don’t have to worry about stocking the bar at all – they do all the organising and leg work. They can even create a special cocktail for your event and name it after you. They bring the bar, the staff, and the drinks, and you have a great time!
