Photo & Video

Capturing the Moment

Whatever your event, gathering so many people together is a moment you don’t want to forget and we know some amazing photographers, and have come across some videographers that we thought you might like. They are all recognised as great professionals in their respective industries, many having won awards, and they all have the ability to capture the narrative, intimacy and journey of your event. We have also listed some other things people have done to document their stay, in case you like the ideas. Some of the videos below are not taken at Huntsham Court, but are a sample of their work.

Evolve Photography – Photographer

Mark from Evolve Photo is local to Devon with huge experience and so many really happy clients we couldn’t list them all (never known a disappointed one!). He is brilliant photographer discretely and unobtrusively capturing the journey of your day from start to end, the big gestures and the honest intimate moments. Not just that, but he is also great value too and tailors the price to your needs. His website has lots of galleries of weddings at Huntsham Court and is well worth a look. (Also worth knowing that Mark works really well with videographer Tristan Adams – details below – if you want still images and film.)

Luna Wedding Photography – Photographer

Anna & Mike are a wedding photographer team based in the South West of England, covering the UK and beyond. So far they have won 3 national awards for their images from just two Huntsham weddings – these include WPJA, WPS and ISPWP awards. Anna photographed her first wedding in 2003 at the age of 21 and 11 years later can’t imagine another career; being immersed in and accepted into such an important event and trusted with documenting those memories is very much part of who she is. Mike joined Luna a couple of years ago after a few years of second shooting, bag carrying and light holding when required, they realised they worked together really well that they decided to work together at every wedding. Together they can offer you two different perspectives of your day to really tell your story.

Cup Cake Videos – Videography

Wedding videos are one of the first things to be cut from the wedding budget, but also one of the first things people regret cutting out. At Cupcake Videos they specialise in artistic, un-posed wedding Videography throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Great Britain. They thrive on capturing real emotions; real moments – not posing you in anyway, or setting up shots, but rather capturing natural events as they happen and getting that perfect candid shot. One style that sets them apart from the traditional videos is our Cinematic theme, they like to give their wedding videos / Films that old and Vintage/Romantic look making them different , individual and Timeless. Their style is creative, relaxed and natural, capturing your day uniquely – no clichés, just exceptional videos every time.

Tristan Adams – Videography

If you’ve already hired your photographer, you may be looking for a videographer. Don’t leave it to Uncle Kevin! Tristan can film your wedding day, working with not against your photographer (often working with Mark form Evolve Photo) and Tristan can capture all the highlights in high definition. His post-production film-editing process ensures that your wedding film will be of a highly professional standard. Relive your wedding day and enjoy seeing all those moments you may have missed in the excitement of it all.

CF Video Productions – Videography

Local to the west country, Clifton has been a Best Wedding Film finalist in 2010, 2012 & 2013 at the Westcountry Wedding Awards – plus he has many great testimonials to his name.

South West Photo Booths

Alfie the Black Cab Bhotobooth – Outdoor Taxi Photobooth

We’ve found some great taxis and vintage cars that have been converted into mobile photo booths which can drive up to the front door, park up and capture photo booth moments for you and Alfie the Vintage photo booth Taxi is one of them.

Kooky Booth – Indoor Photobooth

Traditional indoor Photo Booth and guests can choose Colour, Black and White or Sepia pictures on the touch screen display and simply press the start button in front of them. After a short delay to compose themselves 4 photos are taken a few seconds apart and seconds later the highest quality photos are immediately printed and dispensed.

Coco Photobooths – Outdoor Photobooth

Their PhotoBooths, Mini Car Photo Booth and Taxi Photo Booth are a ‘must have’ for any wedding reception, party, celebration or event.

It is pure undiluted fun that is guaranteed to keep people talking for days to come after your party. Their booths come in various sizes with costume items to dress up with and can comfortably take up to 10 people, (the taxi slightly less). Their booths are fitted with the latest printing technology and high resolution digital cameras providing the highest quality available in Photobooths and Taxi Photo Booths.

Cheap Ideas – Photos/Videos

In addition or alternatively to formal photographers or videographers some guests have done the following:
1. Buy a couple of cheap digital cameras and ask friends and family to use them to document the day for you.
2. Give a camera to kids to get them to capture the day from their angle or interview the guests with a video phone.
3. Put disposal cameras on the banqueting tables with instructions such as ‘use me to capture 10 funny moments’.
4. Some clients ask their friends to get trigger happy on their camera phones too and email the images afterwards.
5. It is always worth asking a friend or two to video the speeches on their phones as a bad recording is always better than no recording!
