Whatever your event, gathering so many people together is a moment you don’t want to forget and we know some amazing photographers, and have come across some videographers that we thought you might like. They are all recognised as great professionals in their respective industries, many having won awards, and they all have the ability to capture the narrative, intimacy and journey of your event. We have also listed some other things people have done to document their stay, in case you like the ideas. Some of the videos below are not taken at Huntsham Court, but are a sample of their work.
Yeti Photography – Photographer
Evolve Photography – Photographer
Mark from Evolve Photo is local to Devon with huge experience and so many really happy clients we couldn’t list them all (never known a disappointed one!). He is brilliant photographer discretely and unobtrusively capturing the journey of your day from start to end, the big gestures and the honest intimate moments. Not just that, but he is also great value too and tailors the price to your needs. His website has lots of galleries of weddings at Huntsham Court and is well worth a look. (Also worth knowing that Mark works really well with videographer Tristan Adams – details below – if you want still images and film.)
Luna Wedding Photography – Photographer
Anna & Mike are a wedding photographer team based in the South West of England, covering the UK and beyond. So far they have won 3 national awards for their images from just two Huntsham weddings – these include WPJA, WPS and ISPWP awards. Anna photographed her first wedding in 2003 at the age of 21 and 11 years later can’t imagine another career; being immersed in and accepted into such an important event and trusted with documenting those memories is very much part of who she is. Mike joined Luna a couple of years ago after a few years of second shooting, bag carrying and light holding when required, they realised they worked together really well that they decided to work together at every wedding. Together they can offer you two different perspectives of your day to really tell your story.
Rockrose Photography
Rockrose photography specalise in creative storytelling photography and family portraiture for the wild at heart and lovers of nature. Their style is natural, creative, bold and fun without being intrusive. They LOVE the art of photography and have been shooting weddings and elopements of all sizes for the last 10 years, from just the two of you to the full big shebang with hundreds of people. They like to get to know you both over a cuppa or two before the day and understand what makes you tick as a couple. They have packages to suit most tastes and budgets so drop them a line and they can discuss your day. Most of their packages include a free wedding shoot which is great way of getting to know each other and breaking the ice. They are based on Dartmoor and cover Devon, Cornwall and the rest of the UK.
Matt Bowen Photography
Having been a Huntsham Court groom himself, Matt knows exactly what it is like to get married at Huntsham; atmospheric, intimate and relaxed. Those three words can also be applied to Matt’s style of photography. Working in a discreet way he captures images that will provide you with happy memories of your day for years to come. He uses bright colours, crisp whites and classic monochrome, avoiding gimmicks, orange tints and filters which could all go out of fashion in a few years time. Any direction will be done with the lightest of touches and he does his best not to interfere in your day.
Matt’s experience of getting married at Huntsham also means he can be a great help with any planning advice you need on top of the help you get from Huntsham themselves.

David Pullum Photography
Recognised as a leading photographer capturing intimate moments with beautiful images, he says of his work: “Experiencing different traditions and personalities has significantly shaped my art and storytelling. We are all different, and my images often reflect the individual personalities at a wedding. I like to provide something a little bit different which stands out from the masses and shows the fun and emotion of your wedding day. I want the viewer of your wedding photographs to feel like they were part of the day, even if they were not there. I want them to feel that they can reach out and touch you, hear your laughter and see your tears of joy.”
Alfie the Black Cab Bhotobooth – Outdoor Taxi Photobooth
We’ve found some great taxis and vintage cars that have been converted into mobile photo booths which can drive up to the front door, park up and capture photo booth moments for you and Alfie the Vintage photo booth Taxi is one of them.

Cheap Ideas – Photos/Videos
In addition or alternatively to formal photographers or videographers some guests have done the following:
1. Buy a couple of cheap digital cameras and ask friends and family to use them to document the day for you.
2. Give a camera to kids to get them to capture the day from their angle or interview the guests with a video phone.
3. Put disposal cameras on the banqueting tables with instructions such as ‘use me to capture 10 funny moments’.
4. Some clients ask their friends to get trigger happy on their camera phones too and email the images afterwards.
5. It is always worth asking a friend or two to video the speeches on their phones as a bad recording is always better than no recording!
