What’s more, the same planner is available for more planning time and/or during your actual event, by direct arrangement with you, if you want additional help. Firstly, this includes ensuring rooms are set up as you need them. Secondly, it guarentees bedrooms are made up pre-arrival for your family profile with extra beds and twin rooms where necessary. Plus, they can put you in touch with activity suppliers, and arrange as much or as little staff support as you would like. Fundamentally, our amazing team is here to help you. As a result, you can enjoy your family reunions instead of working them!
At all family reunions it’s wonderful have some centre-piece moments where you are together and focused. Often, these moments are when you and your family are sharing a meal together. Most importantly, you have your guest list and you have the rooms set up as you want them. But what about feeding your family reunions. So, here at Huntsham Court, it is about you having choice. As a result, you are welcome to bring your food (with a supermarket delivery) or use your own caterers.
But, often guests like to work with our network of chefs, cooks and caterers to create menus that mean something very special to your clan. This means, they can create signature dishes reflecting your family heritage. What’s more, it can include recreating menus from special family moments like weddings or births. Or, creating a food journey through your stay reflecting your families passions and culture. From formal fine dining to casual festival style food – it is all possible.
The most memorable moments aren’t always the formal ones. Yes, you remember the big family reunion dinner. But, what’s as important are the small moments. For example, the giggles with your loved ones in a quiet moment or generations bonding. Another example, sharing a cup of tea and a catch up with someone you just haven’t seen for ages. Above all, it’s about taking time away from day to day distractions to create special time. So, hosting family reunions is all about putting everyone together for them to find these unexpected moments and building bridges and share memories. As a result, at Hunstham Court we suggest stocking up the Butler’s Pantry with a supermarket delivery of tea, coffee and snacks. Therefore, anyone peckish can just pop in and help themselves. Plus, they get to chat whilst making a cuppa. Consequently, the informality of Huntsham being your home from home means it’s totally private. So, you can have breakfast in your PJs in the poshest room. What’s more, we always suggest putting pictures of your family around the house. We even provide the frames for family reunions!
We want all family reunions at Huntsham Court to be amazing. As a result, our supplier network includes the best of the great South West. Firstly, our suppliers can create things to bond over: cookery competitions, vintage fayre ground games, casino nights and even murder mysteries. Secondly, we have a late licensed for live music, DJs and bands. Plus, if you fancy something more relaxed there are traditional activity suppliers who can come to the property for sports and games. But, if you prefer to chill, then spa, beauty and relaxation options are also available by arrangement.
Huntsham Court is an exclusive use hire country mansion, with 5 acres of private landscaped gardens all looking over rolling countryside in every direction. So, you are surrounded by the stillness of nature and the quietness to hear bird song. But in fact, you are just 12 minutes from Tiverton Parkway train station and 15 minutes away from the M5 motorway. For example, we have train speed links to London (1hr55), Bristol (45mins) and Exeter (20mins). Plus, both Exeter and Bristol airports are less than 1hr away. Not only that, you can land private helicopters by arrangement and we also have coach parking facilities if arriving on mass. Therefore, we are easily reached by rail, road and plane. For that reason, why limit your family reunions to your nearest and dearest when you can invite the whole extended clan.
