Above all, we are easy to get to too. By train, we are just 1hr55 from London or 45mins from Bristol. Exeter and Bristol airports are both close too. Helicopters can land by prior arrangement only.

With banqueting spaces for groups 10-130 people you can opt to use our network or bring your own caterers. For that reason, you can have festival style packages or fine dining options.

HISTORY OF OUR EXCLUSIVE USE COUNTRY HOUSE
Huntsham Court is a fine example of Victorian Gothic architecture completed in 1868. Most notably, it was built as a wedding and used as a private home until it was sold by the Huntsham Estate in 1970s to a hotelier. As a result of that from the 1970s until the early naughties it was an arts hotel. For example, EMI ran music retreats here and notable writers often stayed. Then, almost 30 years later the hotel closed and a developer bought it. Consequently it became more run down and neglected whilst it’s future was in limbo. Unexpectedly it was then offered for sale in 2012 the current owners bought it. They have lovingly restored it as a home for sharing. Not surprisingly, this exclusive use country house has gained local support and national acclaim.

Almost certainly, the lead guest will have rented out our exclusive use country house with between 19-35 bedrooms. As a result, we do not allocate any bedrooms.
