Venue bookings allow clients to bring their dogs (up to 2 permitted). We appreciate for some, a family wedding and event wouldn’t be the same without everyone included. That’s why we believe in being a dog friendly country house!
With plenty of space to explore, you and your dog can enjoy our large gardens as well as relaxing in our dog friendly country house interior.
As an exclusive use venue, you have all the space needed to make your event feel dog friendly while enjoying the country house experience.
Being somewhere new, we appreciate you may feel worried that your dog might get overwhelmed by it all, but we have a solution! For example, you can book a local dog chaperone.
With a dog chaperone you can book them to be here, at your country house, for when your pooch needs some dedicated time. It might be for some exercise. Perhaps, your dog may just want some company or quiet time whilst you enjoy your country house party. It could be a helping hand while your ceremony is under way.

Yes. We are an exclusive use hire country house where the property is booked by a lead guest. As a result, they will need to sign off on any dogs permitted at the country house and grounds during their event.
Firstly, you must contact them to ask. Secondly, they then put your pooch on their dog friendly party guest list with us.
Without prior agreement we would have to turn your pooch away. We are a very dog friendly venue, but the lead may have requested no dogs during their event. As a result, we must honour their request.
Importantly, this may be due to: other guest allergies; family concerns; or other logistics.
As a result of all the country house excitement there may be times it doesn’t feel so dog friendly for your pooch. Having a dedicated, friendly dog sitter will hopefully help them feel more relaxed while being chaperoned around your private country house. With your four legged friend in safe hands, you are free to mingle with guests whilst your pooch relaxes, is fed when needed, is taken on a lovely walk, or just enjoys some down time with professional company.
