THE HOW TO GUIDE
FROM 19 JULY 2021
Huntsham Court has worked closely with couples getting married from 19 July to ensure their event is as true to what they intended whilst being both as covid secure and safe for their guests and so as to comply with the prevailing government rules.
This page is designed to assist people attending a wedding at Huntsham Court as a guests to both prepare in advance of their visit and have good ‘covid manners’ during their time here: this way everyone will be comfortable and familiar with the protocols and have an amazing time.
Please, please, please for the safety of your family, friends and the wedding couple themselves, ensure all your immediately family and friends of all ages take a covid test before you leave home and before you and your immediate family group arrive at Huntsham Court:
Whilst we appreciate nobody wants to miss such a special event. The bigger point is that nobody wants to accidentally infect the people they love, especially at their wedding. So please only attend if you know, and have proof, you are covid free.
As of 19 July the rules relax but as many lead guests have vulnerable or elderly guests attending their wedding or event and so are likely to maintain the previous tighter rules for their safety. For your and the protection of other guest, we recommend you should always bring a mask (and a spare) to Huntsham Court and they should be worn at all times. The only exception to this is:
Always wash your hands thoroughly and we have hand sanitising stations throughout the building which should be used:
Again whilst the rules have now relaxed, for the safety of all, lead guests generally are preferring to be cautious for the safety of all their friends and relatives, so we recommend:
Please respect these guidelines, as it is these rules which are allowing weddings to take place in larger groups.
Because of your help and co-operation in these strange times weddings can still be amazing and unforgettably special!
