We have lovingly restored this incredible Grade II* listed manor house to create a country house venue for parties and weddings. Firstly, we are your friendly home from home for guests to rent for unique private events in the relaxed grandeur of a real country house venue. Secondly, Huntsham Court is one of the largest private hire country manor house in the UK. For example, we sleep up to 92 guests on site with the option to book additional accommodation for over 40 guests nearby. Additionally, we have 5 grand reception rooms and beautifully landscaped gardens offering a country house venue with a huge number of different entertaining and dining spaces for up to 130 guests.

Ceremonies & Access

As well as this, our country house venue is also licensed for ceremonies inside and outside. Plus, there is even the village church on the driveway. What makes us different is that everything is exclusively yours. So, unlike expensive hotels, we are your home from home. You can go into our kitchens whenever you fancy and make yourself a cup of tea or grab a snack in the Butler’s Pantry. Flexibility

Any good country house venue should adapt to the lead guest’s needs. For that reason, that’s what we are all about! Consequently, you can rent the house dry hire and bring all your own suppliers. Or, try using our country house venue suppliers network that we have lovingly built over the years. For example, you can choose from our award winning catering partners to serve food in the style you wish. These include, informal festival dining to silver service award winning chefs. Remember, we also have everything in between.

Don’t forget either, that we include within the hire price all our crockery, glassware, cutlery as well as our complimentary banqueting furniture set. What’s more, we even include one set of white table linens and napkins for a banquet of up to 130 guests. So, no hidden charges there. Plus, there is no corkage if you bring your own drinks.

Reliability

First of all, we have built an incredible network of suppliers over the years. This network we regularly review and update to ensure the best of everything from every corner of the SW. Lastly, you are welcome to use your own caterer here with no penalty charges. What’s more, is that we include within the price 7 hours with our event planners to ensure you get the support you need to plan your event.

Useful things to know about our country house venue.

Heating / Open Fires

It’s a large house and for that reason our boilers are massive. So, there is endless hot water for those indulgent baths and the house heats up quickly and is always warms. And, of course, there are roaring log fires (full basket of logs included) in the Great Hall, Library and Snug Bar. Oh, and of course some hot water bottles for a toasty bed.

Inventories, Floor Plans and Seating Ideas

Similarly, to make your planning easier, we have full drawings of what fits into each room. For example, table configurations that work well. Additionally, we have a full inventory of all our crockery, candlesticks vases and so much more.
