Food: Your Plaice or Mine
Guests are welcome to purchase food from Your Plaice or Mine (seafood and burgers), who will be setting up on the front terrace. We’re passionate about using local suppliers and are proud gold award winning members of Taste Of The West
the are an amazing caterer and they buy their;
Potatoes from Halberton,
Salad & Veg from various farms around the South West
Sausages from Hemyock,
Pork from Wessex pork, Wellington
Chicken from MC Kelly, Crediton,
Artisan burger rolls from Ready, Bready, Dough in Wellington
Crab from the Devon Crab Company in Paignton,
Fresh local fish and shellfish from Plymouth, Brixham & Newlyn markets and various day boats and we even use small Devon based companies for other things like our gas, signwriting and compostable packaging.
Food: Picollo Pizza
Piccolo Pizza Co uses a charming mobile woodfired pizza oven to produce authentic and delicious pizzas. We travel all over the South West (and sometimes further) making our pizzas at parties, special occasions and many other events, ranging from school fetes, to music festivals. When the traditional dome oven is fired to over 450°C our pizzas will be cooked in front of you, taking about two minutes before being served to you piping hot. The fire, smoke and smells of fresh food cooking makes a wonderful spectacle and focal point, where people can gather and enjoy great tasting food.
Crohn’s & Collitis UK are the charity leading the battle against Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis and other forms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, affecting more than 300,000 people in the UK. The event wants to help support a local resident who has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease through a fundraising evening, where all proceeds will be donated to the charity. This will really help the charity in funding their research and development but will also help raise awareness of the disease. More information please click here.
There will be a pay bar set up selling spirits, wine and beer. We are only able to accept cash so please ensure you bring some cash on the night.
