A Spring Wedding

Ever wondered what a Spring time Wedding at Huntsham Court would look like?

No need to imagine, we have pulled together some of our favourite Spring wedding photos from the past years to give you a glimpse, pass on some great ideas and to inspire your very own wedding and event planning!

Spring inspired florals

We know wedding flowers make a big difference, no matter the time of year, but we do get particularly excited by Spring time wedding flowers and displays as we see the return of colour!

These are just some of our favourite examples…

What the couple wore

We love how varied everyone’s outfits are on the big day, from the happy couple to the wedding guests! No matter what, its guaranteed everyone will make the effort and ensure they are looking their absolute best.

The couple obviously shine on the day, here is just a few examples of Spring wedding attire that we have seen over the years.

Ceremony ideas

With the longer days and warmer weather now on its way back, couples can explore different options for their ceremony.

The Yellow room is bright and airy during the Spring months, The Great hall is impressive and is the perfect backdrop for photos, The Dovecote is ideal for outdoor ceremonies while taking in the landscape and All Saints Church is a short stroll down the drive!

The venue

With the transformation of the season comes the transformation of the venue and the surrounding area. The grounds start to come alive again, with red poppies, snow drops and daffodils throughout.

Outside feels incredibly inviting for things like a garden party after the ceremony, with lawn games and drinks being circulated, while the inside remains cosy and inviting as the evening sets in.

Spring time trends on the horizon

It’s always good to know what to expect with seasonal and yearly trends, so we picked some of our favourite anticipated trends for this Spring!

  1. Fresh Spring wedding flowers, with frilly tulips, bright daffodils, blossoms and other seasonal florals. Think fragrance as well, this can have a big impact upon guests, especially as they sit at the wedding breakfast tables. Alternatively, you could look at faux blossom tree’s like those used by The Blossom co.
  2. Pastel colours, from the decor, to the florals, to the wedding party… including ties and shirts!
  3. Garden ceremony and drinks reception, especially now the weather is getting warmer! Keep in mind though, your guests still might get chilly so pack some extra blankets to throw over benches here and there.
  4. Edible flower wedding cakes! This is an impressive way to bring colour to a wedding cake, while remaining super elegant.
  5. Thinking of favours? Why not pop a packets of Wild Flower seeds on your guests tables. These eco conscious additions not only give something to your guests to look forward to in the Summer, they will think of you when they bloom!
