One of our favourite ways to start the year is to take a look at what the anticipated trends are for the year ahead. So together, lets delve into wedding style for some inspiration and ideas!
Wedding style – Back to traditional
We all have our own idea of what a traditional wedding looks like. For many it includes elements of a church wedding, smart suits and crisp white dresses, blousy roses, charger plates and simple, minimal decor. However, we are a big believer in creating your own tradition… add style and touches to your day that have meaning and sentiment to you!

Wedding style – Hollywood Glamour
Take inspiration from the Art Deco era, think classic black white films like Breakfast with Tiffany, add touches of glam from Las Vegas with feathers and sequins. Serving champagne in coupes rather than flutes adds a stylish touch to the drinks reception, encourage your guests to go all out with their outfits, including fake-fur stoles for the ladies and braces for the gents… and get everyone ready to Foxtrot for the first dance!

Wedding style – 70’s Vibe
Let your 70’s, boho, hippy, festival style run riot and enjoy an explosion of colours and textures! Incorporate dried flowers, grasses, velvet materials, miss-match rugs, a camper van photo booth and then rock that braided hair, lace dress and bold suit look….
Don’t forget the odd glitter ball as well!

Wedding style – Pastel Colours:
Pastel colours are sometimes misunderstood, they don’t have to be pale peach and light blue, pastels can also be big and bold, especially when teamed up together.
We particularly love the array of ideas for table decor using a pastel colour pallet, including a multi coloured collection of plates, mixed pastel glassware, tall candlesticks in blues, pinks and greens and flowers that pack a powerful yet pastel punch.

Wedding style – Buttery, golden, olive tones
When we discovered this was one of the colour trends for 2021, we couldn’t have dreamed for a better backdrop than our gorgeous Yellow Room.
Its warm, golden tones are a ray of sunshine during the Spring/Summer while bringing a cosy warmth to a Autumn/Winter occasion.
Having seen a wide selection of floral designs in this room, we know how well foliage and greenery works on the wedding breakfast tables, easily achieving those buttery, golden, olive tones.
