However, the rise of the Mini Moon break (or Mini Honeymoon) means that couples have an immediate option to get away and let everything sink in after a fun-filled wedding weekend.

THE PIG-at Combe is nestled within the Otter Valley near Honiton in Devon.
It is totally secluded and this mellow, honey-coloured, Elizabeth gem is set in 3,500 acres of lush, rolling Devonshire countryside.
With their location being just 8 miles from the coast, the menu consists of fresh fish as well as the very best Devonshire cheese and locally reared meat from butchers around the market town of Honiton.
This is a mini moon for the foodies where informality rules. There isn’t a hint of polished panelling, pelmets or fitted carpets; instead it has been stripped back to signature bare wood floors and restored shutters.
The former dining rooms have become cosy and snug sitting rooms, leading off the bar for more chilling and quaffing by open fires.
