At Huntsham Court, its not just the big day where you can incorporate fun, you also have the night beforehand. Most of our guests arrive with us late afternoon on Friday. At this point the house is filled with an amazing energy as friends, family and relations are busy catching up. Plus there’s the buzz of setting up for wedding day ahead!
Friday night can present many opportunities to bring in some entertainment and activities the night before. Maybe you will want to just chill out or keep the excited vibe going.

Wine Tasting:
As far as activities for the night before go, this is a great one to indulge in!

Casino night:

You could even look to get your own personalised wedding related money made for the event.
Your casino night can run alongside the bar being open and have a buffet style dinner available at the same time. You could even discuss with your caterers a walk around buffet menu or canapes, making sure your guests keep fed amongst the excitement!

Spa treatments:
Feel the need for some pampering? Would a massage help sooth away those pre-wedding nerves? As far as activities for the night before go, this is a pretty heavenly option.
We can put you in touch with a wide range of different therapists, offering everything from Shiatsu massages to pedicures.
You can choose to allocate a room or bedroom in the house as a spa space, set up a timetable and look forward to some top to toe treatments.
Don’t think this is something just for the girls either, the guys could have their own separate space (Quinton bedroom works well in this instance).
Look to set up a champagne or whisky station, with a table of snacks and then just sit back and relax!

Murder Mystery:
Moonstone Theatre Murder Mysteries are fully interactive with a plot that unfolds over the course of the afternoon or evening. There are real clues to be found for the super-sleuths amongst your guests which, if noticed, will lead them to the only possible culprit.
For those who just want to have a fun evening without exercising their minds too much, they can get involved as much or as little as they like. Guests will have the opportunity to question the suspects and come to their conclusions before the investigator, in true Poirot style, reveals the truth.
Moonstone theatre have a wide range of plots available and can also offer a bespoke writing service should you be looking for a specific period or theme.
