19 November 2004       I flew in from the USA to Bristol airport and drove directly to Huntsham court on Friday 22nd October for the wedding of my son Alastair. We stayed for three nights and had the best weekend that we have had for a long time. At first the decor seemed a bit faded and strange but very soon we had got used to it and explorered the property and gardens. Many friends and relatives stayed for two nights in the house and were extremely comfortable in your rooms and wierd bathrooms. Such character. The wedding on Saturday went without a hitch and, although there were outside caterers, it could never have been such a good event without the surroundings. My son has said that he enjoyed his own wedding day more than he could ever have thought possible, and thinks that a large house party should be held quite often, getting all the close friends and relatives together for a knees up.
